Born on October 2, 1983, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States, Huda Kattan an Iraqi-American beauty blogger, makeup artist and founder of a billion-dollar beauty brand. Exhausted from her finance job, she ventured into the makeup industry and started working for Revlon. She launched a beauty blog titled ‘Huda Beauty’ in 2010 and quickly rose to popularity with her phenomenal makeup tutorials and styling advice. Together with her sisters, Huda founded a cosmetic brand with the same name as her blog in 2013, her first product being a series of false lashes. The Huda Beauty label then started offering several beauty products including eye shadow palettes, highlighter palettes, liquid lipsticks, foundations and many others. Her passion for beauty has earned her more than 40 million on Instagram as she continues to expand her international beauty empire. She is declared one of the ten most powerful beauty influencers and ranks 36 on “America’s Richest Self-made Women” list according to Forbes. In 2018, she also started her own reality show titled ‘Huda Boss’ on Facebook Watch alongside her family.
