American Rock Band, Moonalice, is a ten-member band formed by the members of the band, ‘Flying Other Brothers’. The band started touring in 2007 and was noticed by music critics for its unique sound. They recorded and released the first eponymous album in 2009. This was followed by an EP series titled ‘Dave’s Way’. The band toured consistently in the United States and Canada with a special feature by Jack Casady in 2009. The band plays psychedelic soul music which was the innovation of their vocalist, Lester Chambers. In 2012, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame acquired the song ‘It’s 4:20 Somewhere’ for their Library and Archives. This is a collection of material that captures the most significant moments in music history. The ability of Moonalice’s music to tell the story of the digital evolution of music made them a part of this prestigious collection. Moonalice became the first band to get 1 million downloads from its own servers without the backing of any label.
