Sarkodie Bio
Born on July 10, 1988, Sarkodie or legally known as Michael Owusu Addo has a Ghana descent. He is great hip-hop and hiplife recording artist that received the 2012 BET Award for Best International Act: Africa. Two years after which he was also nominated for the same award in 2014. His debut album was entitled “Makye” back in 2009.
He was critically acclaimed, as he was nominated for different awards like the Independent Music Awards and World Music Awards. He also received several Ghana Music Awards honors. By 2014, He won the Best Rap Act at the 2014 MTV Base Africa Music Awards. Adding up to that, he also took the title for Best Hip Hop Song for the 2014 World Independent Awards. He is considered to be the 8th Most Bankable Artist in Africa in 2013 by Forbes.
