Kerri Lee Walsh Jennings is an American professional beach volleyball player who has won multiple gold medals in international and national competitions. She was born in Santa Clara, California, United States, on August 15, 1978. Kerri began competing in volleyball while in high school, and she went on to represent Stanford University in national competitions. She made her Olympics debut in 2000 with the U.S. indoor volleyball team, but she found her footing in beach volleyball a few years later. In the years since, Kerri has teamed up with fellow volleyballers April Ross, Misty May-Treanor, and Nicole Branagh. She has won three gold medals at the Olympics and three gold medals at the World Championships.
