Ingrid Andress Bio

Ingrid Elizabeth Andress, born on September 21, 1991, in Southfield, Michigan, United States, is an American country music singer. Her passion for singing stems from her love for instruments like drums and piano. After earning a scholarship at Boston's Berklee College of Music, she formed a cappella group called Pitch Slapped and competed at the NBC’s The Sing-Off. Her remarkable singing talent earned her unstinting praise and a CARA nomination. After the show, her success saw her writing songs for top-tier artists such as Sam Hunt, Alicia Keys, and Charli XCX. She co-wrote the hit song ‘Boys’ by Charli XCX. Ingrid released her singles ‘Lady Like’ and ‘More Hearts Than Mine’ in 2019, later of which made it to the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts. She creatively infuses R&B influences into her pop country music and continues to gain more fame.
