Gillian Jacobs is an American actress born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October, 19, 1982. She is best known for her roles on the shows Community and Love. Jacobs started studying acting at eight years old and attended acting classes at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. She would perform with the Pittsburgh Public Theater. In 2000 she moved to New York City to attend the Juilliard School. In 2005 she made her debut in film in the movie Building Girl and continued landing roles in the films Blackbird, Choke, Solitary Man, Gardens of the Night, Let Go, The Big Ask, Made in Cleveland, Black or White, Life Partners, Visions, Lemon, and others. In 2006 she made her debut on television in the show The Book of Daniel and has since had roles in the shows Traveler, The Good Wife, Community, Girls, Love, Regular Show, Weird City, Angie Tribeca, HarmonQuest and more. Throughout her career she has been nominated for several awards and has won two Phoenix Film Festival Awards, a Method Fest Award, and a TV Guide Award.
