Guillermo Diaz is a Cuban American actor and producer. He was born on the 22nd of March, 1975, in New Jersey, U.S. in a family originally from Cuba. His acting career started when he got a small role in Boaz Yakin’s movie “Fresh” in 1994. A few years later, he worked on the film “Party Girl” and next he played in “Stonewall”. In 2012, he got further recognition playing a drug dealer in Showtime’s series “Weeds”. In 2009, he played in NBC medical drama series “Mercy”, and the next year he co starred with Steve Sandvoss and Nicole Vicius in the thriller “Exquisite Corpse”. Diaz has played in over 20 movies such as “Nowhere”, “Half Baked”, “Just One Time”, “My Suicidal Sweethearth” and in more than 15 television shows such as “Law & Order”, “Criminal Minds”, and “Poor Paul”. In 2012, Díaz landed a role for which he got further recognition in the ABC drama TV series Scandal alongside Kerry Washington.
