Victoria Mahoney (who’s also known as Irish or Crown Vic) is an American actress and film director who was born in New York, United States. She grew up in Regis Park and BayShore in Brooklyn, New York. She studied Fine arts at Southampton University.
Victoria is famously known as the only woman to have ever directed a Star Wars film in the franchise’s forty-year history. She developed her first feature film Yelling to the Sky through Directors and Screenwriter Sundance Institute Labs. She is also named as an Auerbach Fellow, Annenberg Fellow, Cinereaach Fellow, Maryland Fellow, Tribeca Fellow and IFP Narrative Lab fellow. Filmmaker also named Victoria as one of the 25 New Faces of Independent Film. She also once appeared in the Women In Hollywood issue, Elle Magazine’s 3 Filmmakers to Watch and IndieWire’s Filmmakers to Watch. Her movies Yelling to the Sky was nominated for the Golden Bear.
