Pavement Bio
Pavement is a local Indie rock band that was formed in 1989 and is originally from Stockton, California. Its members are Steve West, Mark Ibold, Scott Kannberg, Stephen Malkmus, and Bob Nastanovich. They made their debut on the animated talk show Space Ghost Coast to Coast in 1997, where they appeared as special guests. The band's single "Cut Your Hair," which was initially released in 1994, came close to becoming a major hit for the band. Furthermore, they have been successful in gaining recognition particularly for having chosen to sign with independent record labels rather than signing with a major record label.
