Whethan Bio
Whethan, born Ethan Snoreck on May 25th, 1999 in Chicago, Illinois, and formerly known as Wheathin, is an American DJ and producer. He began producing music by playing around with the Garageband App on his Ipad in 2016. He began to upload his work to Soundcloud in the same year. His music is a mixture of indie future synths crossed with electropop. Whethan cites artists such as Daft Punk, Skrillex, and Deadmau5 as his major musical influences. In 2016 he released three singles: “Can’t Hide” featuring Ashe, “When I’m Down” featuring Oliver Tree, and “Savage” featuring Flux Pavilion and MAX. The singles “Savage” charted in at number 29 on the US Dance Charts. The single “Can’t Hide” currently has over 2 million plays on Soundcloud and debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Spotify Viral 50 chart. In 2017 Wethan released 3 more singles and numerous remixes. He is recognized as the youngest producer to ever release a record on the Australian EDM label, Future Classic.
