Hermitude is an electronic post-dubstep duo from Blue Mountains, Australia. The duo started playing together in the early 2000s and it is formed of Angus Stuart, a.k.a El Gusto, and Luke Dubber, a.k.a. Luke Dubbs. Both of them are talented multi-instrumentalists, who performed since a young age. Their first band together was called Funk Injections and Aja Stuart, Angu’s sister, played the bass along them. They released as a trio on EP called “In On the Deal” in 2001. A few years later, they started recording as a duo, releasing songs such as “Tales of the Drift” in 2005. In 2006, they began touring intensively in Europe, the U.S., Japan, and Spain, among many major techno cities. In 2012 they released their album “HyperParadise” which included several award-winning hit singles, such as “Speak of the Devil” which won the 2011 J Award for Music Video of the Year. In 2015 they released their next album “Dark Night Sweet Night” which peaked at number 1 on the ARIAS Charts. Four years later, the duo released the album “Pollyanarchy” which included the track “Studid World”.
