Alison Mosshart Bio

Alison Nicole Mosshart is an American singer, songwriter, and musician best known as the lead vocalist of the alternative rock bands The Kills and The Dead Weather. She was born in Vero Beach, Florida, United States, on November 23, 1978. Alison began her music career in 1995 when she formed the band Discount. She has since become famous for her work with the bands The Dead Weather (Dean Fertita, Jack Lawrence, and Jack White) and The Kills (Alison and Jamie "Hotel" Hince) with whom she has released countless hit singles and albums. Alsion has also had a successful career as a solo artist, with a discography that includes the hit singles Tomorrow Never Knows, It Ain’t Winter, Bad Blood, and the studio project Sound Wheel.
