Jasmine Rose Wilson (August 5, 1994), better known as Baby Rose, is an American R&B singer-songwriter born in Washington D.C. Rose emerged into the music scene when her and her family moved to Atlanta. Singing and songwriting since the age of 12, Baby Rose began recording mixtapes in the studio. The now 25 year old released her first mixtape in 2017 titled ‘Dusk Till Dawn’. This garnered the attention of J.Cole who invited her to write on the Dreamville album, ‘ROTD III’ in 2019. The young and fresh artist has received great praise online from Ones to Watch stating Baby Rose as a “magnificent Atlanta-based songstress” and “a cavernous voice evokes that of Nina Simone” said by Pitchfork. Baby Rose has been featured on projects by The Internet’s Matt Martians, Childish Major, Dreamville and Big K.R.I.T. She is currently on tour with Ari Lennox around the U.S.
