Binki Bio
Baraka Ongari (who’s popularly known with his online moniker Binki) is an American singer and rapper who was born and raised in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, United States. He studied Theater at the University of North Carolina, and later segued into a music career. He taught himself how to play the guitar. Some of his earliest influences include Childish Gambino, Pink Floyd, Tyler the Creator and David Bowie.
Binki dropped his debut EP Motor Function in 2021. He wrote his first songs drawing inspiration from his earliest influences and posted his songs online. That was how his single Marco dropped on streaming services back in 2018. The single increased his fanbase and helped him ink a deal with the label Fader. He later dropped his official debut single heybb!.
