Black Honey is a British indie rock band formed in 2014 in Brighton England. The members of the band are Izzy Baxter Phillips on vocals and guitar, Chris Ostler on guitar, Tommy Taylor on bass guitar, and Tom Dewhurst on drums. In 2014 they released their debut EP self-titled Black Honey that contained four tracks. They followed it up with another four track EP in 2016 titled Headspin. In 2018 they released their debut full-length studio album self-titled Black Honey independently. The album reached number 33 on the UK albums chart. The band has also released a number of singles, including “Hello Today”, “Somebody Better”, “Bad Friends”, “Crowded City”, and others. They are known for being very protective of their creative control and the band members are involved in all aspects of the music and video production.
