Evie Irie is an Australian pop singer who was born in December of 2002, in Copacabana, New South Wales. She decided to move to the United States for a year to try and find connections in the music industry, staying in Los Angeles, New York, and Nashville. In Los Angeles, she got her first music deal and signed with Republic Records in 2019. After that, she spent some time touring with the singer Sigrid and the band Bastille. Later that year she released her first EP titled 5 Weeks in LA, which she wrote during her stay there. The following year, she released the EPs The Optimist in September and The Pessimist in December. Among her most famous songs we can find “The Optimist”, “Better Than This” and “BLEED”. She has also collaborated with several artists including Isaiah Firebrace, Tim Minchin, and Dillon Francis.
