Lucius Bio

Brooklyn, NY based band Lucius sports a 60’s pop quality in part, due to a home the founding pair, Laessig and Wolfe,  discovered which gave them access to a 60’s era recording studio, music school and various antiquated music instruments.  Vocalists Laessig and Wolfe sync vocal sounds and outfits creating a unique harmony, going as far as creating songs told from the same point of view. Three Multi instrumentalist members, Andrew Burri, Peter Lalish, and Dan Molad form the remainder of the quintet. The band has received praise from both NPR because of their performance at SXSW and Rolling Stone Magazine called their first album lush and soulful.  Their first album Wildewoman, debuted October 15th 2013 and their second album, Good Grief, released March 2015.
