Christina Tosi, born November 9th, 1981 in the state of Ohio (raised in the suburbs of Virginia) is an American pastry chef, owner, and founder of the bakery ‘Milk Bar’ and known for her work on ‘MasterChef Junior’ (2013), ‘Unique Sweets’(2011), and ‘MasterChef USA’ (2010). In 2004, Christina graduated from a Professional Pastry Arts Program at the ‘International Culinary Center located in New York, NY. Christina owns her very own bakery called “Milk Bar” that she takes much pride in. The bakery opened in 2008, specializing in many different cereal milk-based dessert options such as pies, cookies, truffles, and cakes, and has won multiple awards over the years since. The James Beard Award was awarded to Christina Tosi twice. Once in 2012 for ‘Rising Star Chef of the Year’ and a second time in 2015 for ‘Outstanding Pastry Chef’.
