Timothy Hutton Bio

Timothy Hutton is an American actor and television personality who was born on August 16, 1960 in Malibu, California, United States. He was born and raised in the United States to his parents Jim Hutton (director and star of NBC’s Ellery Queen) and Maryline Adams (teacher and entrepreneur). He has two siblings Punch Hutton and Heidi Hutton. Timothy rose to fame for his starring roles as Conrad Jarret in the 1980’s film Ordinary People. For his performance, he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor making him the youngest actor to win the award at age 20. He also starred as Archie Goodwin on the A&E series A Nero Wolfe Mystery and also as Nate Ford on TNT’s Leverage. Timothy also starred in Netflix’s 2018 horror film The Haunting of Hill House.
