The Internet is a Los Angeles, California-based band consisting of Christopher Smith, Patrick Paige II, Matt Martians, and Steve Lacy. They were formed in 2011 and have released several singles, three albums, and three EPs since their formation. They were nominated for the Centric Certified award at the 2015 Soul Train Awards.
Their first album released in 2011 was titled Purple Naked Ladies, which was released through Odd Future Records. In 2013, they released Feel Good, which included their most popular song Give It Time. They befriended rapper and producer Mac Miller and they have continued to promote each others’ works since. Their 2015 album, Ego Death, received a nomination for the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
