Morris Lamont Chestnut is an American actor who was born on January 1st, 1969 in Cerritos, California. He started as a professional actor in “Nightmare on Elm Street” where his film debut was “Boyz n the Hood”. Afterwards he took part in numerous TV movies. He was able to secure his career by starring roles in huge studio films like “Under Siege 2: Dark Territory”. He proved himself to be versatile as he won the Madden Bowl video game competition also. In his film casting history, he was nominated twice for NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor for his excellent acting in “The Best Man” and nominated for Acapulco Black Film Festival Award for Best Actor for his role in “The Man Holiday”.
