Lodric D. Collins is an American actor, born on August 24, 1982, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. After discovering his true passion for acting at a very early age, he turned down his opportunity to study Law so he could move to New York, where he studied and work on any Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Off-Off-Broadway plays, landing roles of General Hannibal Barca for “Massanissa” and Berowne for “Love’s Labor’s Lost”. Collins had his television break in 2005 when he performed as a Rescue Worker in “All My Children”. He’s most known for his role as 20-year-old Smokey in the 2021’s biographical movie “Respect”, based on Aretha Franklin’s life; he also earned popularity playing the roles of Lieutenant Marshall in “Grimm”, Donald Winthrop in “The Oval”, and as Robert Hawke in “The Haves and The Have Nots”.
