Gary Vaynerchuk Bio

Gary Vaynerchuk was born in Babruysk, Belarus on November 14, 1975. His family immigrated to the US in 1978. He started a lemonade franchise when he was 7. In high school, he sold toys and baseball cards. In the late ’90s, he used the internet to grow his father’s store which is now known as the Wine Library. While working in his father’s company, he started WineLibraryTV on YouTube.

He released the book Crush It! in 2009 which became an international bestseller. He started investing in companies such as Venmo, Twitter, Uber, Facebook, Snap, and Tumblr. In the same year, he founded the company VaynerMedia with his brother AJ. The company flourished and is now servicing clients such as Chase, GE, PepsiCo, and Johnson and Johnson. VaynerMedia acquired the women’s magazine PureWow and rebranded it as VaynerX in 2017. The next year, they acquired a men’s magazine line from Gallery media Group and launched ONE37pm.
