Busy P Bio
DJ, producer and label owner Busy P was born Pierre Winter on April 21, 1975 in Paris, France. He discovered electronic music in 1992 and began DJing at the What’s Up Bar shortly after his discovery.
Busy P met Daft Punk in 1996 while he was attending law school, and they asked him to be their manager. In 2002, he started Headbangers Entertainment and took on the management of Cassius, Cosmo Vitelli, DJ Mehdi, and Thomas Winter & Bogue. He founded Ed Banger Records in 2003 and has signed Uffie, Breakbot, Feadz, Krazy Baldhead, Mr. Flash, Justice, and SebastiAn. He removed himself as Daft Punk’s manager in 2008 to focus more on his label and his own music career. P has released five EPs and been featured on five compilation albums. He has also done remixes for artists such as MGMT, Fancy, Booba, and TTC.
