Dave Clarke is an English producer, radio presenter and electronic music DJ, born as David Maurice Clarke in Brighton, East Sussex, England on the 19th of September, 1968. Early in his music career, Clarke started in 1990 as a producer under the nickname “Hardcore”, and with that name he released several EPs in the first half of the 1990s. A few years later, he produced more EPs, but this time under the alias “Red”. He has also produced a series of remixes for prominent artists like The Chemical Brothers, New Order, and Underworld. Clarke then released a series of DJ mix albums. He has also appeared at major electronic music festivals like Awakenings, Glastonbury, Pukkelpop, and Nature One. Clarke released his most recent album “The Desecration of Desire” in 2017.
