The Bloody Beetroots is an electro, dance music, and DJ group that was formed in 2006 in Bassano del Grappa, Vicenza, Veneto, Italy. The Bloody Beetroots is technically a solo project of Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo (an international indie producer).
He toured the United States in early 2008 with Steve Aoki and later that year, the single Butter for a soundtrack for FIFA 09 was dropped. His debut LP Romborama appeared on August 25th, 2009. He was also featured on Hostage’s Gluttony EP alongside Felix Cartal. He also remixed tracks by Fox n'Wolf, Etienne De Crecy, The Toxic Avenger, and Goose. One of his most famous remixes was Michael Sembello’s She’s a Maniac.
Most of his remixes were later compiled and released in the 2011 album Best of… Remixes. Other popular EPs include Rombo, Cornelius, and Warp (which featured Steve Aoki).
