Houses Bio
Houses is an electronic pop duo formed in Chicago, Illinois in 2010. The members of the duo are Dexter Tortoriello and Megan Messina. The two met in 2009 while working at an Apple store in Chicago, Illinois. The two moved to Hawaii for several months before moving back to Chicago and starting Houses. In 2010 they released their debut single titled “Endless Spring.” That same year they played their first gig at the 2010 CMJ Festival. They were signed with the label Lefse Records and released their debut studio album titled All Night. The band moved to Los Angeles, California and released their second studio album in 2013 titled A Quiet Darkness. The album features samples recorded in abandoned roadside buildings along the California highways.
