Yuno Bio
R&B and electric funk artist Yuno, born Carlton Joseph Moodie, is based in Jacksonville, Florida. The 27-year old artist was born in the UK and of Jamaican descent and has been playing the guitar along with producing his own beats since he was a teenager. Yuno’s first skateboard-game inspired self-release was on Bandcamp in 2010 and later moved onto SoundCloud. Previously a bedroom artist, Yuno’s electric hip hop and synthy sound caught the ear of record label Sub Pop and Shabazz Palaces emcee Ishmael Butler. Sub Pop aided Yuno’s debut EP release titled, ‘Moodie’. Off the EP is Yuno’s most played album, ‘No Going Back’ with now 18.4 million plays followed by ‘Fall In Love’ with 4.5 million plays on Spotify. His most recent single, ‘Sunlight’, was released in 2019 and garnered 3 million plays on Spotify.
