Inner Wave Bio
Inner Wave is an American indie-rock and synthwave band. It was formed in 2006 in Los Angeles, California, by longtime friends Pablo Sotelo (vocals, guitar), Luis Portillo (drums), Chris Runners (keys, vocals), Jean Pierre Narvaez (bass, vocals), and Elijah Trujillo (guitar, keyboard). In 2012 the band started releasing singles and EP’s independently, and a year later they burst forth with a self-produced full-length debut titled “III”. This album gained traction in the streaming platforms, mostly through the single “American Spirits”. In 2014, the LP “Sun Transmissions” followed, paving the way for their third release “Underwater Pipe Dreams” in 2017. Two EP’s went out between 2018 and 2020: “Underwater +” and “wya”. 2020 saw yet another full-length independent release titled “wyd”.
