Paul Northfield is a British music producer, mixer, sound engineer, and programmer. Pop and rock are his musical specialties and he is known for his collaborations with artists and performers such as Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson, Suicidal Tendencies, Rush, Dream Theater, Judas Priest, April Wine, Soft Machine, Buddy Rich Big Band, and many more. Northfield started his music career when he was just 17 years old at “Advision Studios” in London, United Kingdom and he was a tape op. Five years later, he joined the engineering staff at “Le Studio”. In the movies, he is known for his work on “Scanners II: The New Order” (1991), “Rush: Exit... Stage Left” (1981), etc. He was nominated for a Grammy Award at the 41st Annual Grammy Awards in 1998 for Best Rock Album - “Celebrity Skin(Album)” by Hole.
