Laura Osnes Bio
Laura Osnes is an American actress and singer born in Burnsville, Minnesota on November 19, 1985. She is best known for her work on the Broadway stage. In 2005 she became a performing apprentice at the Children’s Theater Company where she performed in Aladdin Jr., Pippi Longstocking, Prom, and Working. In 2007 she made her professional stage debut in the Broadway production of Grease. She has since had roles on and off Broadway in productions of Pride and Prejudice, South Pacific, Bonnie and Clyde, Anything Goes, The Sound of Music, Pipe Dream, Rodgers, and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Threepenny Opera, The Band Wagon, Carousel, The Bandstand, Crazy For You, Bandstand, On The Town, Show Boat, and The Scarlet Pimpernel. Throughout her career she has been nominated for several awards and has won four Broadway.com Audience Awards, a Drama Desk Award, a San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Award, and a Star Tribune Theatre Award.
