No Doubt Bio

No Doubt is an American band that was formed in 1987 in Anaheim, California, United States. The group’s members at the time were John Spence, Gwen Stefani and her brother Eric. The group now grew to include Tony Kanal, Adrian Young, Tom Dumont, Eric Carpenter, Alex Henderson, Don Hammerstedt, Phil Jordan, Alan Meade, Chris Leal, Gabriel Gonzalez and Jerry McMahon.

The band recorded and self-released Beacon Street Collection and it was closely followed by Tragic Kingdom that appeared in October 1995. Thanks to constant touring and the band appearing on Just a Girl and Spiderwebs on MTB’s Buzz Bin, the album hit Top Top in 1996. The album hit #1 on the album charts by the end of the year. The record’s third single Don’t Speak seems to remain the band’s biggest hit to date. The Return of Saturn appeared in 2000. The album singles Simple Kind of Life and Ex-Girlfriend were both successful hits. After a decades-long hiatus, the band released Push and Shove which was preceded by the warming single Settle Down. The single debuted at #3 on the Billboard charts.
