Jr. Thomas & the Volcanos Bio
Jr. Thomas & the Volcanos is an American reggae band formed in Los Angeles, California in 2013. The members of the group are Junior Thomas, Brian Dixon, Scott Abels, Chiquis Lozoya, Dan Boer, Raynier Jacildo, Zac Pike, John Butcher, Alex Desert, Brian Wallace, and Tim Cook. The band was started in 2013 by Junior Thomas and Brian Dixon. In 2015 they released their debut studio album titled Beware. The album was recorded at Brian Dixon’s Volcano Lounge studio in Los Angeles, California. In 2018 they released their sophomore album titled Rockstone. The album is a love letter about family, friends, bandmates, and the love for traditional Jamaican music. Jr. Thomas & the Volcanos strive to make authentic Jamaican reggae music and pay homage to the golden era of Jamaican music.
