Hiten Tejwani Bio
One of the most popular faces on Indian television, Hiten Tejwani was born on 5th March 1947. He started his TV career with a role in the Balaji telefilms serial, ‘Ghar Ek Mandir.’ He was signed on for many other serials like ‘Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Saheli,’ and Kaahin Kissi Roz.’ It was with the serial ‘Kutumb’, starring his now wife Gauri Pradhan that he became a household name. His film debut came with a small role in the action film, ‘Vastaav,’ alongside stars like Sanjay Dutt. He bagged the breakthrough role of Karan Virani in the megahit soap, ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi,’ for which he bagged an Indian Telly Award for best actress. He has since appeared in many serials like ‘Sanskaar- Darohar Apno Ki,’ ‘Meri Ashiqui Tum Se Hi,’ ‘Balika Vadhu,’ and many more.
