Bastian Baker is a Swiss songwriter and singer who came into fame in the second decade of the 21st century. While singing at a social gathering, a friend saw him and offered to be his producer. This prompted Bastian to release his first single, “I’d Sing for You” 2011, which charted #9 on the Swiss singles charts. He performed at the Caprices Festival and Montreux Jazz Festival and then released his debut album, “Tomorrow May Not Be Better” (2011).
That album sold platinum. Since then Bastian Baker has only added to his fame with three more albums which all charted #1 in Switzerland, occasionally also making a dent in the Belgium and French charts. His festival roster has expanded to Paleo Festival, Francofolies de la Rochelle, and Olympia of Paris. Bastian Baker has performed alongside artists such as Elton John, Bryan Adams, Johnny Hallyday, and Mark Lanegan and is a 3x Swiss Music Awards winner.
