Shane Dawson, born Shane Lee Yaw on the 19th of July 1988 in California and is an American digital influencer, YouTuber, author, actor, singer, songwriter, film director and sketch comedian. With thirteen million subscribers on his main channel and over eight million subscribers on his second channel, he is known for impersonations of celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Sarah Palin and Justin Bieber.
With a podcast titled, Shane and Friends, his fist film Not Cool was a hit, which he followed up with two memoirs, I Hate Myselfie: A Collection of essays and another book, It Gets Worse, for which he also did a short film. Popular on instagram with six million followers, he is known for his flamboyance and comedic style.
