Andy Torres is a Mexican fashion blogger born in Guadalajara, Mexico on July 17, 1987. She is best known as the creator of the website StyleScrapbook. Torres learned to sew at the age of 7 and would make her own clothes. She moved to Paris at 21 years old to pursue a career in interior design. Soon after she moved to Amsterdam to live with her boyfriend, but found it difficult finding a job because of not knowing the language. In 2008 she started her blog to be able to connect with people around the world and would post photos of herself modeling various fashion pieces and accessories. In 2011 she was named Mango’s It Girl and that same year was named one of the four most influential fashion blogs by the website vouchercodes. She has worked with brands like Canon, Nike, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Coach, Sportmax, L’Oreal and others. Torres was the first blogger to deliver a TED talk. She hosted her own television series on Cosmopolitan TV and was also a judge on E! Entertainment’s television series ELLE Mexico Disena.
