Angie Martinez Bio
Angie Martinez, born Angela Martinez on January the 9th 1971 in New York and is an American radio personality, rapper and actress. With two studio albums released thus far, her first, Up Close and Personal, and her second album Animal House were both well received and some of her hit singles include, Mi Amor alongside Jay-Z, Dem Thangs, Coast 2 Coast and Take You Home.
As an actress, the rapper has worked in independent hip hop films such as Paper Soldiers and Blood Is Thicker Than Water and the film Brown Sugar alongside Queen Latifah and in her radio career is considered to be The Voice of New York, her radio show ranked number one consistently with young listeners for years.
