Jared Cook was born as Jared Alan Cook in Birmingham, Alabama on April 7, 1987. He is the third round, the 89th overall pick of the Tennessee Titans in the 2009 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year contract with the Titans.
After his stint with the Titans, Cook signed a five-year contract with the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams decided to cut him in 2016, and he signed a $3.6 million, one-year contract with the Green Bay Packers. Cook went on to sign a two-year contract with the Oakland Raiders in 2017. He serves as a tight end for the team.
In high school, Cook was the wide receiver. He started playing tight end in college when he went to the University of South Carolina where he trained under Steve Spurrier.
