Malik Jackson was born Malik Barron Jackson in Northridge, California on January 11, 1990. He was the fifth round, 137th overall pick of the Denver Broncos in the 2012 NFL Draft. The Denver Broncos signed him to a four-year contract worth $2.31 million. He debuted with the team in the game against Atlanta Falcons in Week 2 of the season. When his contract expired, he signed a five-year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars worth $90 million. He serves as the defensive tackle of the team and wears shirt No. 97 Prior to going pro, he played college football at the University of Southern California, but he transferred to the University of Tennessee.
He was selected for the Pro Bowl in 2017. While in college, he was named second-team All-SEC.
