Mark Ingram was born in Hackensack, New Jersey on December 21, 1989. He was the first round, the 28th overall pick of the New Orleans Saints in the 2011 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year contract worth $7.41 million with the Saints with a guaranteed bonus of $3.89 million. Ingram wears jersey No. 22 and serves as the team’s running back.
Ingram was No, 43 on the 2018 NFL Top 100. He has also been a two-time Pro Bowl selectee – in 2014 and 2017. He was named the player of the week twice in 2017’s Week 11 and 2016’s Week 12.
Before going pro, Ingram played college football in the University of Alabama. He received numerous awards in 2009 including the Heisman Trophy and the SEC Offensive Player of the Year.
