Mike Daniels Bio
Born as Michael Wayne Daniels Jr., on May 5, 1989, in Stratford, New Jersey, is an American football defensive tackle, playing for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He attended Highland Regional High School where he played football on the positions of running back and defensive tackle and he was captain of the high school football team two times. He then attended the University of Iowa, where he played for the Iowa Hawkeyes before being drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 2012 NFL Draft. In 2019, Mike Daniels was released by the Green Bay Packers, only to sign a $9.1 million contract with the Detroit Lions of the NFL two days later.
