Missy Higgins, born Melissa Morrison Higgins on 19th of August 1983, in Melbourne Victoria is an Australian actress, musician and singer-songwriter. Signing with labels Eleven, Reprise and Warner Music her career began in 2001 at the age of eighteen. She became best known for the single Scar, which charted high in Australia and made her a well known singer.
Higgins’ number one albums include The Sound of White, On a Clear Night and The Ol Razzle Dazzle, and she is best known for songs such as The Special Two, Where I stood and Steer. Higgins’ most recent album is Solastalgia and has bought her back into the limelight after a four-year hiatus. With over thirty award nominations and eleven wins, she has had a successful career so far.
