Sharna Burgess Bio
Sharna Burgess was born in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia on June 21, 1985. She started training in jazz, ballet, and gymnastics when she was five. Burgess started ballroom dancing at eight years old. By 15, she won different national and local titles. She was also Australia’s representative for Standard and Latin dance at the World Championships. She also performed at the closing ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
She went on tour with the Burn the Floor in 2006. She also went on a UK tour with Simply Ballroom. She also made appearances on So You Think You Can Dance Holland, Dancing with the Stars USA, and Dancing with the Stars Australia. She was also one of the main dancers when Burn the Floor performed on Broadway.
