Mario Casas Bio
Mario Casas was born on June 12, 1986, on A Coruña, Galicia, Spain. He appeared on the TV series Obsesión in 2005 and as Javi in SMS, sin miedo a sonar. Some of his more recent projects include Paco’s Men where he portrayed Aitor Carrasco and The Boat where he appears as Ulises Garmendia. He is set to appear as Marco Mur in the series Instinto which is set to air in 2019.
His notable film performances include Three Steps Above Heaven (2010), Unit 7 (2012), Witching and Bitching (2013), and The 33 (2015).
He received the Best New Actor award from Premios ACE in 2011. He won the Best Actor for La Mula in the Malaga Spanish Film Festival. Fotogramas de Plata also awarded him the Most Searched Performer on the Internet in 2011 and 2014, and Best Movie Actor in 2016 for the 2015 film Palm Trees in the Snow.
