Jessy Wilson is a singer from Brooklyn, New York, United States. she is also known for being a former member of the music duo Muddy Magnolias. After completing high school, she started singing as a backup for the American singer and songwriter Alicia Keys. In 2013, she relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue her career in music. While there, she met her other band member Kallie North. She also received training from the American singer and songwriter John Legend.
He performed with the band Muddy Magnolias at the CMA Music Festival 2014. The band delivered an exceptional performance. They were later signed by Third Generation Records. They released their debut album, titled “Broken People” in 2016. The band was dissolved in 2017 when Kallie North left for unknown reasons. Wilson started her solo career, releasing the single “Love & Sophistication” in January 2019. That same year, she released her debut solo album, titled “Phase”.
