Conan O’Brien is an American television host, comedian, writer, and producer born in Brookline, Massachusetts on April 18, 1963. He is best known for hosting several late-night talk shows and currently hosts Conan on TBS. He moved to Los Angeles after graduating from college and started his career wiring for the HBO show Not Necessarily the News. In 1988 he got hired to write for the show Saturday Night Live and would occasionally appear as an extra in sketches from 1988 to 1991. In 1991 O’Brien was hired to write for the animated show The Simpsons and wrote for the show until 1993. In April of 1993 he was chosen to host the show Late Night. Late Night With Conan O’Brien premiered on September 13, 1993 and ran until February 20, 2009. From 2009 to 2010 he hosted The Tonight Show for seven months. In 2010 O’Brien announced that he would be hosting a new show on TBS named Conan. The show debut on November 8, 2010 and is still running to this day. He has also made appearances on a number of television shows and films like Spin City, 30, Rock, Super Fun Night, Maron, Kidding, Now You See Me, Sandy Wexler and more. Throughout his career he has been nominated for numerous awards and has won four Primetime Emmy Awards, a People’s Choice Award, six Writers Guild of America Awards and others.
