Kevin Thomas Strahle, also known online as L.A. Beast, is a well-known social media personality from New Jersey who works as a professional competitive eater. He was born on January 6, 1984, in Ridgewood, New Jersey. He received his degree from Fordham University in New York with a history major and a business minor. The "Fatburger XXXL Challenge" was the first task he ever finished. After seeing the great feedback on his "Milk Chugging Challenge" video, he decided to start creating YouTube videos as a weekend pastime. His appearances on MTV and truTV helped him to become very well known. Strahle started competitive eating in 2015. In September 2015, Strahle and other competitive foodies consumed a whole goat to end the seventy-year "Chicago Cubs Curse." The next year, the Cubs made history by winning the World Series. In the month of May 2017, he set four new "Guinness Book World Records" in a space of ten days.
