Danilo Gentili is a Brazilian comedian, television host, writer, film producer, and cartoonist born in Santo André, Brazil on September 27, 1979. He joined the comedy group Clube da Comédia Stand-Up in 2006 and performed at local and national festivals. He started the comedy show Comédia ao Vivo and would make appearances on the television show MTV Brazil. He worked as a cartoonist and in 2008 collaborated with the Brazilian edition of Mad magazine. He became well known in 2008 after hosting a segment on the show Custe o Que Custar and has also been a host or made appearances on the shows A Liga, O Riso dos Outros, Os Fatos, Espetaculares, Agora E Tarde, Comedy Central Apresenta, Entubados, Tempero Secreto and others. In 2009 he published his first book titled Como se Tornar o Pior Aluno da Escola and has since released the books Politicamente Incorreto and A Vida e Outros Detalhes Insignificantes. In 2013 he made his debut in film in the movie Mato sem Cachorro which premiered at the Rio de Janeiro Film Festival.
