Jacqueline MacInnes Wood was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada on April 17, 1987. She initially went to a nearby high school. She went to Ryerson University after finishing high school. She majored in acting and the arts while in college. She gained attention after playing the "hair girl" in a First Choice Haircutters commercial. She relocated to Toronto at the age of 18, to pursue an acting career. In May 2008, she debuted in a contract role on the American CBS Daytime drama “The Bold and the Beautiful.” She made her acting debut in the 2011 feature film Final Destination 5. She even had a cameo as a guest star on the October 2012 premiere of The CW's action-adventure series Arrow. "After Hours," her first song, was released in January 2012. In addition to her acting career, Wood has modelled for several companies. She has won two daytime Emmy awards in the Lead Actress category.
